This hotel is a hidden gem in a quiet alley, perfect for experiencing the charm of old Beijing. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the main attractions and public transportation. The rooms are well-maintained and come with basic amenities such as a double bed and windows overlooking the alley. The staff are friendly and speak good English, ensuring a comfortable stay.
No major issues encountered, everything was satisfactory.

nothing.. it was a mistake to stay there
When I arrived the hotel staff insisted on receiving the payment in Chinese currency and in cash since their credit card machine was "allegedly" not working although the advertised price was in USD. The rate they used to calculate the payment was about 10% worse than the one I found at the airport and since I couldn't use my credit card, I had to exchange money from them to pay. They exchanged the money for an even worse exchange rate and to top it all up, they denied having small change in order to rip me off a few extra Yuan. When I threatened to write this in my review, the small change suddenly appeared! The room was clean, but smelly, which I can accept given the cheap price, but the scam they performed on me wasn't acceptable

Found an affordable hotel in a charming Hutong area. Great location near a subway station and restaurants. Room was decent with a private bathroom and free Wi-Fi.
The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, and the staff struggled with speaking English. Walls of the bathroom were transparent, offering little privacy.

The hotel was in a perfect location, deep in a dark alley, but also within walking distance to the local subway station Guloudajie. Transportation was easy to find from the airport. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and spoke English.
Almost perfect.

Good rooms, good hotel, near the metro station. Cerca del metro, buena habitacion y todo ok en general
Is not in a real hutong, is a hutong for tourists, anyway is better than staying in a hotel in a shoping area of Beijing. No esta en un hutong de verdad, es un hutong de turistas pero es mejor que quedarse en un centro comercial.

Location is good, but the hotel is obviously not a 3* star.
My booked room was no longer available at late check-in, only one dirty room left, but clearly cats had pissed in there (indeed pets are allowed and free of charge). Upon calling staff, they pretended the smell came from the bathroom, and flushed the toilet once more. Next day to originally booked 'deluxe' room, also cats there, but less intense smell. The place is dirty. .At least check your room before you pay.

The hotel is located in the historical Hutong area of Beijing, which is a very central and unique location. It is situated in a small alley, making it a quiet and peaceful place to stay. The rooms have good views of the Drum Tower from the window, which is a fantastic sight to wake up to. The hotel offers basic amenities such as a bathroom and two single beds, making it convenient for travelers. Additionally, breakfast is included with the room rate, ensuring a good start to the day.
All was great, nothing to complain about.

I liked the location in a hutong as well as the free Internet access given. The staff is really eager to help even if their English is a bit limited.
The Internet was often very slow. The laundry was quite expensive compared to other hotels (especially for a budget one). Breakfast was very limited, coffee often barely warm. It should be mentioned that one of the services advertised on the website: massage is not provided, certainly because of tougher recent regulations. It should be removed.

The staff mostly speak great English and are really helpfull and feindly. The room was very comfortable and the housekeeping staff did a very good job.
The only real complaint, if any was that the shower was a bit tempormental and there would only really be enough hot water for one person at a time.
Tourists from United States of America often stay at these properties. Consider them for your next trip.
